The shows in Vama were held with the sea in the background and elements that set the beach, with old furniture, a Dacia 1300, an open gate to the water or a campfire on the sand, a symbol of the Vama people, which recreated the atmosphere of the village that became the expression of freedom…. In addition to the concerts, Vama opens Vama means a true live cinematic experience , with impeccable scenography and direction.

Vama opens Vama started on Friday, at 20:00 sharp, on the streamerse.net platform, with the hit "Vama Veche", while in the water - two dolphins were swimming close to the shore. Tudor Chirilă was barefoot, with his feet in the sand and facing the sea when he noticed the intelligent mammals revealing themselves in all their splendor in front of him. He also showed his band mates, Eugen Caminschi (guitar), Dan Lucian (bass), Lucian Clopo (drums) who were also on the beach facing the water, then he started to sing. All this time, Gelu Ionescu (keyboards) was waiting for everyone on stage, pressing the piano keys. Fans were able to see from home spectacular images of the calm sea, the sky, the dolphins, the campfire lit, the open gate that led you to the armchair and the sofa by the sea, while listening to the classic lyrics about the story going forward.

Throughout this "scenario" the sun continued to set accompanied by famous songs about the sea and more, from Vama and Vama Veche. ,,The child who runs to the sea", ,,17 years old", ,,I'm not in the mood today", ,,The girl in the boxers", ,,The beach man", ,,Perfect without you", ,,This summer", , "Happiness", but also the last Vama single - "Fuli Bon Bon" rang out from the laptops and phones of fans who had tickets to the event broadcast exclusively online. People left thousands of live messages on the streaming platform, but also on the Vama band's Facebook page, where they posted photos and videos of them excitedly watching the unique show in Vama, from home.

After almost two hours, the electric song ended with "Epilog", which was accompanied by a light rain that started with the song and which inspired Tudor for an unexpected ending, singing from the video broadcast van. The event continued the next day with other special moments, and the sunrise was marked by another special concert by one of the most beloved pop-rock bands in Romania . This time, the over 3.000 Vama fans watched from home how the sun rose from the sea to acoustic rhythms. The dawn song debuted with "Calul din Marlboro" and continued for more than half an hour with other songs from the history of both bands - Vama Veche and Vama, with the same fabulous elements of the sunset setting and with impressive images of the sea, the sky, the sunrise and the fishermen who set off by boat out to sea and returned to shore, during the concert. "Somewhere in Customs", "Your Victory", "18 years", "VST", "Come and dream underwater" were part of the playlist that enlivened the morning of Saturday, April 24, on the deserted beach. However, fans who had tickets woke up early and watched the sunrise online with their favorite band. And this time, people filled the internet with emotional messages, pictures and videos of themselves watching the concert from home.

Tudor Chirilă: "At the time of this statement, I am still under the influence of what happened on the beach. We set out, and I think we succeeded, to recreate fragments of a world as we once perceived it - let's call it the Customs of our dreams. Ever since the idea of an online concert emerged, we have imposed ourselves to do something different than what had been done up until this point during the pandemic. More than a concert. An experience closer to cinema that would require the use of a laptop or tablets. To be able to see details on the screen that you couldn't see live. So we created this world on the beach, in several points, where we sang, played or simply existed. And the fact that we sang at two times of the day, sunset and sunrise, gave us a much more complex experience in terms of mood, light, decor, music. Even the state of the spectators was different from the beginning, because in one way you sit down to watch a show in the evening and in another way you perceive everything that happens in the morning at 6 o'clock, you have a different biorhythm. It was a show that surprised us many times, we improvised a lot, we played in the space we imagined and we built moments that we had not planned or directed. There was a large production team, each one is worth mentioning, but this time I will focus on those with whom I developed the concept of the show: Irina Moscu - set designer, Daniel Klinger - light designer, Silviu and Bogdan Mustățea (The Brothers M) filming and broadcast direction." The concerts, filmed with 5 ground cameras and one from a drone, were recorded and can be viewed on the streamerse.net platform until May 4.
