Before jumping straight into your dancing shoes, I thought I'd give you a few tips to avoid the traffic jams that we, the locals, have already gotten used to. If you're coming by car from Bucharest , avoid exiting the A2 at the entrance to Constanța , in the area of IC Brătianu Boulevard. Whether you're staying in Constanța or Mamaia , don't forget that there is a bypass. At the moment, work is being done on several sections of the road, and the few kilometers from the entrance to the city to your accommodation will seem like an eternity. I've drawn a map below with the easiest and fastest route, although it's a few kilometers longer. Use the A2 shoulder to the A4 (Ovidiu – Tulcea) and only then head towards Constanța.
This option is also recommended for those who have accommodation in the city.
The first May Day party is actually Easter
The warm-up for the period April 28 – May 04 actually starts on the first day of Easter, on a boulevard in Constanța. The organizers probably thought that the safest way to get rid of the surplus of hearty meals is to move outdoors. And if the weather holds out, a few hours of dancing are announced. From now on, if you click on the photos that follow you will be directed to the event page . So that no one gets upset, the events are described from a calendar and geographical point of view (from north to south).
Four days later, on April 28, 2022, thousands of Romanian and foreign tourists are expected in Mamaia . Sunwaves 28 will bring together dozens of DJs, and the tents will be located in the north of the resort, in the club area.
And as these are the first May Day parties after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the entire northern area will be filled with events that will not lack customers. If you don't believe me, try making reservations at the hotels/holiday apartments in the area. Let's get to the famous place known for its wheelbarrows full of champagne bottles and fireworks. There are two parties scheduled, on April 30 and May 1, and the representatives of the Loft club are still keeping the names of the guest artists under wraps. I'll give you just one hint because I'm not allowed to say more! Many young women will sing the following refrain on the tables..."Yes mom, I'm..."
A few tens of meters to the south of the resort, but also in the club area, at Fratelli, it is already flowing with reservations for tables. The first party is scheduled for Friday evening on April 29 when Smiley and Delia are invited, and on April 30 some opinions will be broken on the dance floor. The hosts of the evening are Loredana and Damian & Brothers.
Those who are staying in the center of Mamaia resort have the option of the LUV club.
Events on the beach in Constanta
Let's get to the first extended beach on the coast , the one in Constanța. Here are two events of reference. The guys from ZooM Beach Bar decided that on the evening of April 30th they would debut with Bogdan Simion & Lăutarii de Mătase. If you haven't been to an event where they were invited yet, I recommend you not to miss them. Then, you have the whole beach at your disposal if you want to dance barefoot until the wee hours.
And if you want to feel the first emotions of the Neversea festival, I have good news for you. Neversea Beach will open and host several events between April 30th and May 01st.
If you want to spend time at sea, I'll give you a tip here. The Allezi yacht will once again color the horizon starting from 29.04.2022.
