A new car brand is making its way onto the Romanian market, and Constanța is among the cities where the public was able to discover its first model. The iCAUR V27, an electrified SUV with a robust design and REEV technology, was presented on Saturday, October 31, in the Autocomo Constanța showroom , during an event dedicated to guests.
After the brand's official debut at the 2026 Bucharest Auto Show , iCAUR continued its local presentations, reaching the seaside.
At Autocomo Constanța, guests had the opportunity to discover the V27 up close, explore the interior and become familiar with the technologies of the new SUV.
With a square silhouette, round headlights and generous dimensions, the V27 relies on a design reminiscent of classic off-road vehicles, but proposes a current technological approach.
One of the model's particularities is REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) technology.
Unlike a conventional electric car, the V27 also uses a combustion engine, whose role is to produce energy to extend its range. The propulsion is electric, with the gasoline engine acting as a generator.
According to data communicated by the manufacturer, the Premium version can achieve a total range of up to 870 kilometers.
The model comes in two versions: Classic, with rear-wheel drive and a 185 kW electric motor, and Premium, with electric all-wheel drive, 335 kW and a torque of 505 Nm.
The Premium version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, according to official specifications.
The 34,31 kWh battery allows a declared pure electric range of up to 135 km for the Classic and 130 km for the Premium, according to the WLTC cycle.
The iCAUR V27 has a length of 4,899 meters and a wheelbase of 2,9 meters.
Inside, the model integrates a 15,4-inch central screen, digital instrumentation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a 15-speaker audio system.
Depending on the version, equipment may include heated and ventilated seats, a double panoramic sunroof and advanced driver assistance systems.
An interesting detail for travelers is the V2L function, through which the car can power external electrical equipment with a power of up to 6 kW.
According to the launch offer communicated by the importer Auto Italia, the V27 Premium version has a promotional price of 49.400 euros, VAT included , compared to the list price of 54.990 euros.
The price of the Classic version is available upon request.
The model can be pre-ordered in Romania , and sales are scheduled to begin in the first part of 2027.
The announced warranty is 7 years or 150.000 kilometers.
The event on October 31 marked the local presentation of the new model, in a setting where guests were able to analyze the car beyond the photos and promotional materials.
iCAUR is a brand from the Chery Group portfolio, represented in Romania by Auto Italia. Romania is the first European market where the brand was officially launched.
For the public in Constanta, the appearance of the V27 brings a new option in the electrified SUV segment.
